How it works

What the platform does, how a week runs, and what it costs. If something here is not clear, write to [email protected] and a founder answers.

What is Power of 3 Sports?

Power of 3 Sports is a members-only football analysis and entertainment platform. Each week members study the published slate, choose five sides against the line, and rate each pick from 1 to 5 by how confident they are. The platform scores everyone against the results, weights each member by their track record, and publishes the membership consensus alongside a featured selection from the founders. It is an information and entertainment service, not a sportsbook: no wagers are accepted, brokered, or facilitated, and membership fees pay for access to the software and its analysis only.

How does the weekly cycle work?

The board opens Tuesday morning with the week’s games and lines. Members can change their five picks as often as they like until Friday at 11:59 PM Eastern; a Thursday or Friday game locks at noon on its own day. Reports run Thursday at noon and Saturday morning, and the featured picks are published Saturday morning with a late read on Sunday. Every deadline on the platform is stated in Eastern time.

What does the 1 to 5 confidence rating mean?

Each of your five picks gets a different rating from 1 to 5, with 5 being your most confident. Every number is used exactly once. When a pick is correct against the line you gain that many points, when it is wrong you lose that many, and a push is zero. Your running total across the season is your track record, which is what determines how heavily your opinion counts in the weighted consensus.

What is the weighted consensus?

Every side on the board collects the confidence points of the members who picked it. The raw version counts every member equally. The weighted version re-tiers the membership each week by running track record, in four tiers weighted 100, 75, 50 and 25 percent, so members who have been right carry more of the signal. The consensus figure for a matchup is one side’s confidence points divided by the total on both sides, which is why it reads as a percentage.

What does a membership cost?

The first two weeks of the season are free for every member. From week 3, plans are a single week at $25, four weeks at $75, eight weeks at $150, the full season through week 18 at $300, or a playoff package covering all 13 postseason games at $50. Every plan is prepaid and covers the weeks it names. Nothing renews unless you switch on weekly auto-renew yourself, and you can switch it off at any time.

Do memberships renew automatically?

No. Every plan is a prepaid purchase that covers the weeks it names and then stops. Weekly auto-renew exists as an opt-in switch on your profile page and is off until you turn it on. For an active member, a new plan extends coverage from where the last one ended, so buying early never costs you a week; for a new or returning member, coverage starts with the current week.

Is Power of 3 Sports a sportsbook?

No. Power of 3 Sports does not accept, place, broker, or facilitate wagers of any kind. Point spreads shown on the site are published market data, displayed only to frame the analysis. No portion of any membership fee funds a prize pool or is paid out or redistributed. Everything published on the platform is opinion and analysis, no outcome is promised, and past performance does not predict future results.

Who can join?

The platform is intended for adults 21 years of age or older, and creating an account confirms you meet that requirement. If you or someone you know has a gambling problem, help is available: call or text 1-800-GAMBLER.

Who is behind Power of 3 Sports?

Power of 3 Sports, Inc is a North Carolina company, established in 2025 by three longtime friends and incorporated in 2026. Charles Nicklis, Gary Buete and Anthony Eckel bring more than 60 combined years of sports management, coaching and player experience. The system started as their own weekly habit: each one evaluated every matchup independently, narrowed to five selections, and a side all three landed on became a featured pick. The platform is that method opened to a membership. Questions reach them at [email protected].
